Where did your screen names come from?

My given name and all of its variations seemed to be taken, So I use my trail name. I got the trail name because I just wanted to be called by my given name in the woods, and the irony is in Leatherstocking tales Natty Bumppo came to the conclusion that his given name was the one he began and ended up with. The cousin who teased me with the name to begin with was a J.F.Cooper fan.

"On eagles' wings" in Latin - from my favorite verse, Isaiah 40:31: "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles..."

Mine is my first initial T and my last name, Erdelyi... Erdely/Erdelyi means Transylvania/Transylvanian(Google it), the neck of the woods in Hungary where my father's family came from was close to the Transylvania/Hungary border.

With a cool name like that why would I want to use any other handle/screen name? ;) :)

My name is Al and I go by the name "pocketknifesheaths"

In 2005 I started help Todd Davison with his photos, web site and post here on Bladeforums. Got into making a few custom pocket knife sheaths for his custom folders.
Liked doing those, so I signed up and make them for Bladeforums members.:D:thumbup:

My first name spelled backwards...and my current profession.

About four decades ago I had a radio show when I was in college. I was always nervous on air and had a hard time saying my name (My last name does not exactly roll off the tongue.) But I found I could easily say my name backwards. Note: The "K" in Knarf is not silent.

My avatar is the aircraft program I am proudest of having worked.

It was about 7 years ago. I was registering on the Web site for Patriot Guard Riders. I was riding a red CBR at the time, i.e., a "squid" bike. I tried the name "redsquid," but it was already taken, so I tried "redsquid2" and it worked.
