Just as the title says I want to know where you guys order your knives. List where you have ordered knives and received them having no issues. I'm looking to do some knife shopping and want to know where everyone else shops and has good experiences. Whether it's an online only store, a real store with an online presence, direct from manufactures, on this forum or another forum, if it's Ebay then list the sellers you have bought from and recommend. And if you know of any real bargains out there post a link to it. Maybe even post another link to show how good of a deal it is. I think this is a good place to post this question as "the good, the bad, the ugly" is not specific enough for what I am looking for. Post here only if you regularly order from a place that has great prices, shipping, and service. A place that you would recommend. And if a place you know has a great online deal post it up. So post up where you shop:D
Example
Spyderco Endura http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4242443 $48
At Eknifeworks http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/eCommerce/product.jsp?Mode=Brand&Brand=103&A=&SKU=SPC11S It's $71
For $48 the endura is a good deal, online only.
Another one, Gerber LMF http://www.knifesupply.com/eshop/10...tp://www.knifesupply.com/survival_knives.html $68
at Eknifeworks http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/e...xt=&list=50&range=1&order=PriceDesc&SKU=G1463 $89
As for my experiences I have shopped at smoky mountain knife works (aka eknifeworks) at there store location and online and had a good experience. There prices are not the best it seems but I had no issues with shipping and service. Same goes for Walmart.

Wherever the best deal is in most cases but I also consider the closest for free gorund shipping so I get my knives in 3 days instead of 7 :D

That said, I often for to

Bladehq
888knivesrus
Bladeplay for cheap stuff
Lapolicegear sometimes
timberwolfoutdoorproducts (he just raised his prices though!)
Got my Skirmish at Cutlery Shoppe

There are many great places. My experience is that some places offer better prices on certain manufacturers than other places, so it can be worth the while to look around.

Don't forget eBay, either. There are definitely deals to be had, and many of the better eBay sellers can get the knife to you faster than online retailers, many of whom don't stock product and therefore incur delays in getting the knife to you.

As in all things, keep your eyes open and if a deal looks too good to be true, it almost certainly is!

Here are some I've dealt with within the past year. All have provided good prices and service.

knives-america.com
knifesupply.com
cumberlandknifeworks.com
arizonacustomknives.com
knifeart.com

I'm an eBay regular and rarely find the best knife deals there. If you can bid and get a good price, it works out. Otherwise, the express dealers are usually more expensive than many of the on-line dealers already listed.

I am surprised that more folks have NOT listed.

This is Sparks store and it should be the first place you look if you like this forum. He supports the site with his own money. I have always gotten great service and prices on items purchase there.

Help Blade Forums, buy at Sparks' place.

Just my .02

I've bought knives from several different sources but 90% of my online purchases have been from knifeworks.com, New Graham Knives, or Sooner State Knives. Good customer service, decent prices, and prompt shipping from all three.

Thanks guys these replies are great and just what I was looking for. I have been looking for a Griptillian for a while and this has been the best price so far

$69
Man those Walmart deals are awesome I just found them while posting this thread. I never thought to check there before. A little note; some of these websites have ugly navigation. Take KnifeSupply for example it would take several minutes to view all the Benchmade models and for most models you have to click the link to see the picture. Great selection though. As for Eknifeworks there website is easy to navigate and you can view 50 knives at a time of the same brand. Not as a good a selection/price though. Just my thoughts. I plan to check out the sites you guys mentioned and post any deals you come across. Keep the recommendations coming guys.

I've gotten from quite a few places, but my two mainstays are New Graham and Sooner State Knives. I really like Sooner State's website and Kenny is great to deal with, as are the folks at New Graham.

Smokey Mountian Knife Works has served me well ! I recently purchased a Spyderco Edura4 waved from New Graham knives & they were very kind & shipped Fast !

This is what the GBU is for, not to mention there's a bit of deal spotting as well.

No matter who you buy from, the dealers who support this site help keep it open for you to post here, so make sure you give them a holler first. If they can't match or beat prices, they'll try.

What is GBU? On another forum I hang out on related to RC Cars, it is easy to see who the sponsors are. Just about every question is answered with a link, and a big thumbs and thanks to the manufactures. And while there are many sponsors on that forum, this one usually pops up very often is www.davesmotors.com among others. And so you know that is the place where most on the forum buy their parts for great prices, shipping, and selection; unless it's a specialty item that needs to be bought direct from the manufacturer. Also while reading any thread you can see the sponsors adds to the left of the screen. Simply click on one of them at any time. Or likewise there is an add just above the thread that leads to a sponsor. I really don't know who the sponsors of this forum are. I have heard www.onestopknifeshop.com is owned by the forum owner but I only just learned that. And I don't see a link anywhere on this forum to their site or any knife shop for that matter. Only if you click on the Manufactures sub forum can you get links to the manufactures themselves. If there are links or forum sponsors who sell knives other the ones they manufacturer please post links as I would like to support them. By the way I have been checking out these places you guys are posting and I like what I see. I haven't checked all of them yet when I do I will post up which ones I think have the best combination of a great website, great selection, and low prices.

This subforum is GBU. Feedback: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.

The membership prefers that we have no banner ads on this site. You do have a good point about being able to easily find out who supports this site, however, so I've added a section in the FAQ to cover this.
