Where does knife collecting rank with your other hobbies?

Is knife collecting at the top of your list? I'd say knife collecting is near the top with my other hobbies.

Knives and flashlights are my top two (I carry multiples of each every day so I really get to enjoy it) with firearms slightly below that.

My current interest is building high power Li-ion powered LED lights. The drivers firmware was cracked by the guys on BLF a few months ago and we can control our lights exactly how we like. I've also been getting into soldering SMD components and learning what different components work together to rig up anything we want. Right now I'm building my buddy NCCNC a 5000Lm 3x emitter 4x18650 monster (and that's zero exaggeration on the output)! It's driven by an attiny13A chip (custom firmware) running 3 MOSFET's pulling about 11-14Amps from the ICR18650-20R's.

My new summer hobby is building a tesla coil.

Knives as a hobby has pretty much completely replaced my previous hobby, tabletop wargaming.
Because, wait for it........ tabletop wargaming was getting TOO EXPENSIVE

lol

Also, it's a much bigger time commitment. Buying models, assembling them, painting them, packing them up and taking them to play a 6-hour game with HUNDREDS of pages of rules. It was just too much for me.

"Knives" suits me better I think.
Carry one daily and actually has some use outside the "hobby" aspect.

Knives are at the top for me as well and I really dont have any other real hobbies besides hunting/fishing and thats a lifestyle to me. I also love my guns but the state of Maryland does not want me to own any for some reason lol
