Well, some of you might have noticed my less noteable presence over the last few weeks, at least I hope you have.:o

Yup, I've taken on a regular job........ God, the horror.

Since getting here to Texas, I've been working in whatever area I can find work in to pay the bills. After Ike, it was recovery work. Cutting trees, repairing roofs, windows, siding, fencing. It was fun but the work soon dried up and since then I've been working in the family business (owned by my brother), which is pest control/lawn care. I went and got my pesticide apprentice licence and have been filling in for him when he needs me on a truck and otherwise doing alot of paperwork and invoicing. That left me here strapped to a computer for alot of my time and allowed me to play on BF alot, work on sheaths and screw around with the kids.

Well, that all ended a week and a half ago when my brother decided to fire his main tech and change the way it all works having account managers the take care of big areas and oversee the workload.

You guessed it, I'm the new account manager.

So I'm in a truck 8-10 hours a day now.....this whole providing for a family is really cutting into my interweb time.....But I'm sure it's better for me to be out of the house a little bit.

Too much time around this crew can get to you.:D

But this was all in the masterplan with the RAT forum anyway. TTD is only on at work, 8-5 and I'm more or less on for the nights and weekend shift.:D

I also read during the day via my Crackberry but I don't post much from it because it has wee wittle buttons and I have bratwersts for fingers.

This is basically a long drawn out way to say that if anyone needs anything from me during the day, just e-mail or PM me, I'll get back to you ASAP.

Thank you!

Frankly, it's not my first choice but steady work with decent pay in this economy is a blessing and I'm glad to have it.

Well I for one missed you buddy, the forum just aint the same. Also congrats on the job, times are tough, and an honest days work is good for the soul ( even if it eats up some of our play time):D
I have been a LEO for a while now, and this is the one profession that I dont worry about job security...(criminals are stupid and plentiful), but either way its good to hear from you.

You were gone? Didn't even notice with all of the parties we were having! I mean, of course I noticed :D

Congrats on the new job! Anything is better than nothing in this economy, sadly.

I'm glad you're working again. I do miss you being home w/ me though. :( I guess I'll get over that eventually.

It does become quite the mad house around here.....3 kids..........3 dogs........mother in law..........yup like a friggin circus!

Congrats on the steady job. I thank the good Lord often that I've been able to hold onto mine.

Damn, I was hoping you were going to be posting from Congo or Vietnam or some other wild place...like Brooklyn.
