i was wacthing a knife show a few nights ago and i saw a set with a swing guard knife and i fell in love with it and now i want one but i cant find one below $150 does anyone know where i can get one?

Rough Rider for about $25 . Canal Street Cutlery has made some absolute beauties in that price range (150-175) Case makes the Cheetah, which is at least a good looking knife.

Picked up this one on sale for about $40 a couple years back.

The AG Russell is $99. Queens are available under $60. Canal Street can be found for $64. I'm not sure where you're finding these for $150... My point, it pays to shop around, and to watch and wait for sales and closeouts.

Good luck in your search.

Search for 'cheetah knife' on Google, etc. Case made this pattern, I'm seeing some from Buck Creek knives. All for well under your $150 limit.

Queen has a swing-guard in this pattern also, pictured below, D2 blade w/bird's eye maple handle, for about $70.

Both the Canal st. swingblades I refered to, I have bought at that approx. price. Both have very exotic handle slabs. Looks like we gave our original poster lots of good choices for a good swingblade. Really a great pattern.

I assume you are talking about non autos? As quoted, there are several on the SMKW site both large ones from Marbles and Rough Rider that are around $20, and small ones that are less. German Bull makes a better swinger for under $30. Then there are the Italian switchblades in 8", 9", and the 11" models that run from $60 to 120. They of course are the most fun. Finally there is a non auto 9" Italian Falcon swinger offered by SMKW that can be had in wood and horn and at $20 is a great value!!!!!

Since the sticky at the top of General states it is not the place for where can I buy what, moved to GB&U.

Feel free to start a thread on Swing Guard knives in general for the discussion of the knife instead of where to buy it.
