A question for you guys. Sometimes, you need a gear fix, I bet you guys understand. I will probably never use an esee arrowhead. But I want one, or even two. Is it useful, or am I waiting money? Same question goes to a Fisher space pen. Would I need it? If so, which version... Pfff...

+1 for MeWe. I don't think that MeWe will ever replace Facebook because Facebook has embedded itself into our lives far too much, but MeWe boasts privacy and has a really neat group chat function that works very well, even on mobile devices. You don't even have to sign up with your real name, you could just use your BF username, which is what I just changed my name to there.
There are tons of gun groups on there to. I'm sure one or two of you round here likes guns.

Sure they took a pencil, but they can't unalterably sign documents in orbit. And who has they payload capacity to pack a Notary Public just to make it official? I mean c'mon...

What I want is the pressurized zero-gravity filing cabinet in which they store those indelibly signed documents.
Was up playing in the woods earlier. The Kershaw Camp 12 chiped out real bad and the Cold Steel Finn Wolf rolled the edge just slightly but with very little use. I'll post pics when I get home.

So this happened.
Shame too because it was a good chopper.
The rolling on the edge of the Finn Wolf is so minute it would be hard to see in a picture and shouldn't be hard to sharpen out. I will say though that I put a Opinel No.8 through the same test and there was no damage it it at all and it performed about as well.

The graphite shavings from the pencils caused shorts when they were sucked into the ventilation system, ultimately the Russians started buying and using the US space pens soon after the US adopted them.

It was still green when I chopped it. Felt pretty soft. The edge is really really thin and it wants to roll in your hand just a little bit when you chop so I think that's what happened. If they had angled the handle back like a parang maybe it wouldn't roll like that.
I have full confidence in Kershaw as a company but I think I'm just going to try for a refund through the river where I got it since I already have a bunch of choppers.
