Where to find sheaths for your Fiddlebacks

I am looking for a leather sheath maker to make a sheath for my production Hiking Buddy. I would really prefer not to have to ship the knife. I am looking for a sheath that is slim and trim like the stock sheath, but one that lets the knife sit deeper in the sheath and a higher belt loop.

Thanks

L.T. Wright sells JRE Sheaths for less than JRE sells them. I have the J model for my Hiking Buddy that fits great for $30 (dangler) and $35 (hip). https://ltwrightknives.com/leather-sheath.html

unfortunately still needing a sheath for my usefully gorgeous F2

I discovered that my not-so-hot Buck 212 sheath, which I will never use with it's intended knife, almost fits the F2.

for my tactical belly, a dangler attachment from Fiddleback Outpost places the package at the perfect angle to my hips.

given how unfortunate the sheath is, here is carries so exceptionally well, it's making me start doubting what's real...

ANYWHO, for this blade, a small pocket sheath with clip would provide invaluable utility - at least to begin with ;)

one of the best Chanukah presents ever  thank you to the generous, considerate person from whom t'was, well, presented :)

I believe I should just get someone to make me one, but another part wishes someone had an F2 sheath just laying burning a hole in your drawer and was willing to let her go o_O

it's as if it is such that I repeatedly, reliably come to this barrier whence I'm reminded one cannot wish their problems away

that won't stop me from wishing for a pocket clip sheath for my F2 from someone these here parts of les interwebs :rolleyes:

Its been a while since I purchased a sheath for a Fiddleback - it was just JouFuu back then.

Is there anyone that makes sheaths for some of the more common / old styles that shipping the knife away isn't required?

Thanks for your time.

When you click on a specific sheath, it will list all the models it fits. Jason makes an awesome leather sheath!

I recently found a nice "deep pouch" style leather sheath designed by Kevin Estela that works for a Fiddleback KE Bushie or a Gossman Polaris.
I've also found that the sheath works well with both the Terrasaur and the Bush Hermit patterns. I expect that it would work with other Fiddleback Bushcraft knives in the ~4" blade and ~4-1/2" handle size.
The sheath is made by Chris Phillips who has a small leather goods shop called Freedom Leather in Cameron, NC.
He is on Instagram: Freedom Leather Co.

Anyone found any new sources for sheaths? I got a HB Jr earlier this month and need a sheath for it. I have made a few kydex sheaths for some other knives, but this one is going to need a leather sheath, haha.

Folks, a LOT of my knives can be fit into the sheaths that Pops Knife Supply sells. They have a few suppliers, but the ones I recommend are the Amish made ones. They are foldover pouch sheaths. They are sold by size #. The #2 is for small knives, the #3 fits the HB Jr., the #4 fits the HB sized knives and the #5 fits the Bushfinger sized knives. They are ~$34-ish, and Pops sells several colors in each size and an undyed one if you want a color they don't have.

Now, sheepsfoot knives and or any odd point configuration isn't going to work.

I recommend them.

I have been making Fiddleback Forge sheaths designed for their models for over 15 years. I designed the Arete and have been making sheaths since Andy started making that blade.

I agree with Andy that many stock makers can fit Fiddleback Knives - but if you want sheaths designed for the Fiddleback Line - I have dozens of designs that do just that.

I wager I have made literally thousands of sheaths for Fiddleback Knives. You can find me by a google search for Diomedes Industries and Knife Sheaths or drop me an email at diomedesindustries@gmail.com

Here is a STACK of Fiddleback Style sheaths I used as my banner logo for years.
