Where to start with tomahawks.

bugbear, i recently picked up my first hawk (a buck hawk) from dana at fort turner forge, and it is excellent. it took a while for it to arrive, something like a month from when i ordered it, but it is absolutely beautiful. i would definitely recommend getting one, i plan on making the trapper hawk my next buy.

I highly recommend HB Forge Shawnee Throwing Tomahawk. I have had mine for more than a year, using it for field utility and throwing both. It has held up great and as far as throwing goes, well... I have become very consistent with it at a variety of ranges with not much practice so it just goes to show the balance and design make it superb at its intended use.

Thaks again to all for posting your Nice hawks! I have a question regarding The Ft. Turner hawks vs, the Great River hawks. As I am no doubt the worst sharpemer of balded instruments in the known world, would anyone have any thoughts on which make would be "Sharper" as delivered?

Thanks in advance
