Where's Mr. Becker????

A long time back Doug Ritter let slip, with a picture, of a Ritter-bladed BK2. I almost hope it doesn't come out so I can afford name brand ramen noodles, I'd need a minimum of two.

Also, not sure what you are referring to as the Mk2. The Mk2 has never been put into production. That was a collaboration with Ethan Becker that died on the vine when Cammilus went belly up. We still hope to resurrect the Mk2 once KABAR is back into full production of the Becker line, but that's still at least a year, likely more, down the road.

I do believe it was on the Wilderness Survival board here, it was your basic BK2 except for a wider drop-point blade.

I guess whenever he damn well feels like it ;) I'll have to harrass him some more ;> besides, I need to hear more about his last trip.

If we can get him back into the habit, it'll be good for him and us.

My favorite knife dealer Greg Gilbert at Gilbert's Cutlery (corner of Hwy 27 west and Harmon Rd in beautiful Lincoln County, NC, phone 704-735-8350) says Ethan has been hunting in South America with some guy Greg knows. Bag some big 'uns Ethan!
 
Maybe Ethan can teach Lynn Thompson about how to really hunt animals....sorry, just could not help myself.
 
I would bet that more interest could be generated in his knives if he, or a representative would spend some time on here.

There doesn't seem to be much of a PR effort put forth here.:confused:
 
I was jacked about the forum when Ethan was posting fast and furious, had hopes it might be like the Rat Cutlery forum.....but without interaction with the man or a rep....it does not look good here.
 
he appears to be living life large, family, hunting, outdoors.
