Where's Mr. Becker????

I have been to the mountain and I have seen it first hand. I listened and he spoke to me. Life was good, life was full. Life was about family and friends and hope. And then it happened. Oh yes it appeared before my very eyes. The reserection. I picked it up and it was lighter, faster, stronger and beautiful.

THE MAGNUM CAMP IS BACK and I have one.

There are many of we faithful who have waited lo these many months for word from on high. Now thou doest speak of a new Magnum Camp! Tell us, prithee, when, where and how much?

What other wondrous things might He on high have divulged when last ye spake?

Inspite of SSB8's slightly cryptic post, he is correct. Becker MC's are back. Prototypes are being tested.
Don't despair BeckerHeads.
Also USA Made BK-13s, BK-11 Micarta handles and a surprise or two will be at SHOT Show.
Now if we can only get Ethan to start posting....

Thank you, Paul, for giving us a little more information, and something to look forward too. It's going to be a tough 41 or 42 days of anticipation (not that any of us are counting) waiting to find out what all will be announced, but we'll make it. I know we will, because we Beckerhead's are as tough as BK-2's, and we can take anything. Well, except for anticipation... that drives us crazy.

As far as adding a new moderator to the Becker forum goes, my suggestion would be Bladite, if he wants the job. He knows more about Becker's and their history than I do by a long shot, and he actually talks to Ethan from time to time.

That's assuming that Ethan even wants to add another moderator.

I will say that it's not a bad idea at all. Ethan, obviously, can't be here all the time (although I do wish he'd drop in more often), so it would be nice to have someone to help guide us here on the board.

rmc85 suggested Jake or I, and I think that Jake would be a pretty good choice, too. He certainly likes Becker's, and would make a good contribution to the board (not that he doesn't already).

If neither of them want to do it, I could certainly help out. I'm kinda-sorta semi-retired now, so I have some time.

But it all depends on what Mr. Becker wants to do: it's his board, after all.
 
You see, when on my quest for understanding from the Beckish peoples I found said enlightenment in the form of the MAGNUM CAMP. I was this search for reason that I found why some resources become scarce from time to time. It's like fresh fruit and vegatables, if you had them all year round, would you like them as much the first time of the year as you do when you only get them for one season?

This mountain is scaleable my fellow people and the riches that wait on the other side are even brighter and more shiney then we could ever imagine. Stick to your course and continue to look, and more importantly listen for the answer. It might be right in front of you the entire time.

Now where is that Machax........

talked to him earlier... prototypes this week eh? yah.

he's out buying feed or whatever they do in his town, but will call back later.

now, i'm reminded of a beater TacTool with funny hardware and a broken sheath that needs a new one ;)

was hoping the MachAx would make a come back FIRST, but i imagine that the Magnum Camp will be a sellout ;)

And did I just see sideshowbob8 hint that the Machax might be on the way back? We'll just have to stay tuned to this station for more developments as the story unfolds.

Toooj has already told us that some things will be revealed at the SHOT show (end of January), and then there's the BLADE show in June. Just what wonders will be revealed in the coming months? I guess we'll have to wait and see, although the suspense will be tremendous.:D It looks like we Beckerites will be in for some nice goodies in the coming months.

I'm still hoping for a thinner version of the BK-2 with the traditional Becker handles, and a blade length of around 3 1/2 to 4 inches: I've got my fingers crossed.
 
I think all of us who haven't been fortunate enough to get a Magnum Camp in the past are already drooling over the chance to get one in the near future. They'll sell a ton!
 
I just got into Beckers this year and it kills me to see all the old ones I cant get.

The MC is (by far) the Becker I REALLY want!

Well, it's obvious that someone knows someone. The burning question in the minds of Beckerites everywhere is who knows whom, and when did they know them? Expiring minds want to know.

It's been highly unusual (but welcome) for both you and SSB8 to show up on the same day. Something's afoot, methinks.

Now we're all waiting for Ethan to pop in.
