Where's the love?

Aside ftom the Huck, the new Ratweiler is probably my favorite O2W offering so far. I would love to get one but I currently don't have the funds. Before, I would have ordered one and started saving up. Seems that too many people complained about the long wait times and now I'm afraid to pull the trigger and then get hit with a quick ding.

Agree 100 percent. The grab bag ding already came for me much earlier than expected. Plus I have 2 Mini Meaner Streets on order.
 
I really like the look of the ratweiler, and I am sure it will be a prized user and collectable for those that purchase. Part of me would love to have one in satin with black and white G10 (There's a modest collection in the house somewhere). But, I've decided I'm not buying any more knives that exact a blade tax (have a large choil). And, the snag reduction choil just enlarges the choil, making the tax even greater.

It absolutely does!!! And I don't think folks quite realize it. Mark my words, there WILL be DEEP regret from those who didn't take the plunge when this one is gone.

Have you used a Ratweiler or Chopweiler? I wouldn't want either without the choil; they're extremely useful on these knives!
 
I emailed in for one, as pictured. Can't afford more, currently.

But I hope to score a black on black canvas from the exchange later

Regarding the knife, I've had or still have the LE, the op2w thin, and the op2w thick. I haven't owned an original run RW with the flat slabs, but have some chopweilers with them. I also don't have a terror monkey version, although it is close to my LE. Strictly my opinion based on what I've used, but I think Jerry got it right with the pictured INFI version. Already overspent my budget here on Dog Soldiers and a $500 bag.

Spent a lot of money with two other makers around these parts too.

Simply don't have enough money to buy everything I want
 
Just so you guys and gals understand, your words have real meaning and do have impact most of which you'll never know about. I hope you're as smart as I think you are and I'm as dumb as I appeared - We shall see because I just got my order in. One of my bad habits is selling things- I just don't get rid of much (when I die, my wifes yard sale will be one to see believe me) so I see this a little differently but I also think Infi is money in the bank from my short time here but that's not my motivation- I just like cool sht that's exclusive I guess. :rolleyes:

I'm in for several.
Now, about that folder we're still waiting for... ;)

No doubt, I think I missed the original Team Gemini offering's, but ordered 2 of the TGLB's (my first Busse), Remember calling the Shop (talked to Lexi) and told her I wanted one in Desert Sage with Tan and Black Handles! She said you mean one like Daryl Dixon uses? I said Who? I did not who the hell Daryl Dixon was-Lexi just laughed and said "ya Right":(:thumbsup:

Ok I get that but wasn't the original original original or LE offered in infi? If anything this gives me much hope for those releases though idk about the timeline, or about that folder o_O

I was amazed how much the fuller, contoured handles changed the Ratweiler for me. Didn't care for the flat slabs combined with the finger notch on the original, and sold my pair. Kept my Chopweilers though! :D

Nope, this is the first time the 'Weiler (in any form) has been offered in INFI. It's a HUGE big deal!!!
