Which beckers do you want on you in the zombie appocalypse and why?

These!!

Well, the Bill Siegle Bolo isn't "technically" a Becker, but he IS a Beckerhead and he DID make this Bolo specifically for Becker scales.
SO.....

9 for firewood, 5 for cooking, 16 for game processing. I won't need anything else, because after this winter, no man or zombie is going to willingly live in Wisconsin (or MN or ND). We'll be ok!

For the Z day, I want:
- BK2 Skull buster
- BK3 Door blaster
- BK5 Grill mate
- BK16 Handy crafter
- BK11 Necker protecter
- BK9 Because you need one

Hi BlackKnight86, The knives in the picture are a BK9 on top and a BK7 on the bottom. The hawks and war hammer are Cold Steel. I modified the hawks and war hammer about 3.5 years ago The Beckers were simple drop point mods recoated with Brownell's Alumahyde 2 Dark Parkerizing gray and micarta scales. I don't know if the progress pictures are still in the threads which I posted in the tomahawk sub forum.

Good point! I believe I'm safe here in MI as well.

BK3, BK9, BK16. BK3 is an entry tool, heavy duty chopping, the 9 for actual chopping and woodwork, and the 16 for everything else. My 24 would already be in my pocket so that would be along for the ride as well. Or perhaps something else, something heretofore as yet unseen, something new and exciting...

(insert evil cackle here)

Knowing that it's pretty much impossible to actually stab through the skull, I'd want my BK9 for the reach, and the potential of chopping through a skull and cutting into the brain.

Torn between a 2 a 4 or a 9. Aw screw it.... gimme a 6" Python and a Gerber folder. And a good hat.

Definitely a BK9 because of the reach. (I am assuming here that we are dealing with the slow-moving zombies found on Walking Dead rather than the fast-moving zombies found on World War Z. I am also assuming that the OP wanted something more than simply saying we want all of the Beckers. Of course, we want all of them.) A BK 7 or 10 for mid-sized tasks. And a BK 16 for the small tasks. So those 3 if I had to chose.

If I was limited to just one Becker it would be the BK 9, again because of the reach. You have to stop the zombies before they get close enough to bite. If limited to just 2 Beckers, it would again be the 9 again for the reach and a 16.

And the blade coating?

If it is a dedicated Zed smasher, uncoated for proper cleaning...
