Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

DOTH, I did not know you were doing BM 58Xs! I've been out of touch with the forums. Yes please! I'll be looking you up in the new year

Yup!! He just started doing them.......I've been torturing Ryan to start making scales for the Barrage for quite some time!
I have 4 sets of 94x scales from him and they are bad ass!!!

Carrying this one today.......best build quality of all my BMs!! It is extremely solid and gives you that confident feeling when it's in hand!
Love it!!

Want an auto for EDC??? Grab one of these bad boys!

Can never carry only one......so have this one with me also!!
Very under rated model! This one is in my top 5 BMs!!

My recent birthday gift - a Cabela's exclusive 940-1601 in D2. Out of the box, the action was butter, flicks like dream with the tiniest bit of lock stick. Man, I love this thing. I'm waiting on my 940-1 to come back from BM for a blade replacement.

is the area around axis lock lever made of wooden scales? it looks different color compared to carbon fibre scales

i have heard some really great things about this G10 griptilian...especially its 20CV steel....how are u finding its edge retention?
have u tried sharpening it yet?

I haven't used it too much... Just couple weeks of light edc. Still scary sharp

It is. I'll try to get a better picture today while I'm at work and have some better lighting to work with.

The wood looks a good bit richer than I can achieve without some quality photography gear.

D2 steel, too.

Here's a link to Cabela's site where you can see some more pictures.

Thanks, bud. I can't get over what an awesome EDC knife the 940 series is.
