Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

Haven't been able to put it down since I got it. :D Replaced couple of my standard office carry knives... for now.

Funny, back when I was looking for a knew knife, couple years ago, I was 'bading between 940 and PM2. Went with PM2, and got several other models since then. No regrets.

But the this one came along. It is special. Now I want the new 535!

It seemed to be calling to me when decision time came.

I seem to be tying up a lot of lanyards lately--replacing some that are tired, some that I don't much like, and adding some to knives that never had one. My 710-1401 had some black-with-white-specks 425 cord with a small Ti bead and was pretty meh. I tied this one on and stuck the knife in my pocket before heading out today.

The -1401 has a great feel in hand and the super M390 blade sets off nicely against the polished split arrow clip. I've always been kinda mezza mezza about the blue black scale colors, though mine does have a nice balance of the two. I do like the grip that the sculpted handle affords, though I find no particular fault with the flat G10 of the stock 710s either. This KW exclusive is pretty sweet. (Note appropriate black and blue smiley.)

Haven't got a benchmade yet. I am new here and to knife collecting in general. I won't say what I have because you all would probably laugh. What benchmade should I start with?

Head over to Knifeworks and grab one of their exclusive Griptilians before they're gone.
Highly customisable with an almost endless supply of aftermarket goodies to make it your own.
A great place to start in the knife world.

I recently picked up a 943. This is my first venture into the 94x series. I have to say, I'm smitten. It's light, it's comfortable, love the blade length and love how little room it takes up in my pocket. Also, as a lefty, of course I love the Axis lock. We have a winner.
