Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

Picked up a Mini Loco, and I'm digging it so far. I knew the specs, but "shorter than my 940" didn't really sink in until I held it. :)

Hi Keyman, I have questions about the scales on a couple of the knives that you were carrying today.

First, did you have to contact Rock Scale to arrange for the left handed clip on those Bugout scales? I haven't seen it as an option on the Critter scales and haven't really seen a way to contact him unless I sign up for Instagram.

Second, can you tell us a little about the carbon fiber scales on the Vallation? I think on another thread you called it "rubberized" CF. Is it grippier than standard CF?
 
No, I did not contact Rock Scale to arrange for a LH clip mount, I did it myself.
Yes, the Vallation has new “Rubberized” CF scales on it. Yes, they feel very different from than you normal or common CF. This CF is actually Rubberized and feels like it. The grip is awesome, as you can imagine, especially when compared to standard CF, G10 or Micarta. Because of this materials rubber like flexibility , i would suggest it be used on knives with full length liners.
I personally love it.
