Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

I agree with this ^. Very underrated and often overshadowed by other knives in the line-up.
I had originally got a Bugout, but didn't like the thin blade, light weight and flimsy scales.
The full size pressie is just too big for my little Tinkerbelle hands, but the mini pressie ticks a lot
of boxes for me, and is very much the 'Goldilocks' version. It was also much cheaper than the Bugout.
I like it so much I just bought a new one with a black blade which is now discontinued.

Rescued from the pawnshop yesterday. Original model Adams fixed blade with D2.
Has been carried and used, with just the right amount of wear and tear.
Still has factory edge, which is in serious need of a date with the diamonds!
The cord wrap will be replaced with a set of scales on the way from the Priced Right Country.

Today it's another Wilkins modded Grip, though its Benchmade parts are limited to liners, lock, some hardware, and clip. I picked this one up on the Exchange some time ago, fully modded with Kevin's replacement blade from a member in England. It came with a polished Wilkins clip too, but I swapped that out for the black split arrow as it's one of my favorite all-time clips plus it adds a bit of contrast as well as complementing the stock BMK pivot and exposed liner screws.

Make that four-for-four days carrying a BMK. Today it's my original 710, bought used off the Big River Site, of all places, in rough shape--off-center, horrid "sharpening" job, lightly pitted and discolored blade, backspacer rudely hacked out where blade had likely been hitting, and crappy action. It took several sharpenings to get it right, polishing and oil quenching to clean up the blade and restore that D2 luster, backspacer replaced with stand-offs (much preferred anyway), interior polishing and clean-up, and using the method described in my 2017 thread to re-center.

This is one of my very favorite and oft-used work knives, partly for all the work I put into it, and it has additional wear by yours truly to show the love. I do love me some 710's, though, and I presently have three examples of this truly classic knife.

My apologies to BM but the aluminum on the the 851 just reminded me to much of a '55 Buick and all the chrome. I could only find one fellow on Esty that could make replacement scales and this is what I chose. Looking at the 851 of ChazzyP ChazzyP is akin to looking at a photo of my kid when she was entering kindergarten; that is, tugging at my heart strings. But I'm proud of how she's grown.

This is my EDC and it's AA which I can't ever envision disabling. With the exception of what should be arriving in the mail tomorrow, this is my absolute favorite of the three BM's that "own me".

I just noticed that blasted fly  IMG_1960.JPEG

I like the fly in the pic, says even the most lowliest of creatures have good taste, own it.
I have much the same problem, every time I get my Benchmade knives out for a pic; Butterflies come out of nowhere and swarm all over them.
There's a full size Adamas under all this wildlife. :)

I have my Adamas with me today knocking out a few 'Carwash chickens' aka feather sticks.
She's sporting new scales from the Priced Right Country, fit and finish is excellent, as was the price.
The difference these scales make to the feel is great compared to the paracord wrap.
I made a belt loop attachment that bolts onto the original sheath.
The little pouch on the front holds a DMT 'fine' (600 grit) diamond plate for touching up the D2 out in the sticks. (it hasn't needed it yet)
Although a little shorter than I am used to in regards to fixed blades, it works just fine for most things.
A 6 or even 7 inch blade in either Cruwear or Magnacut would be nice.
