A wonderfully designed knife, the Turret. I wished BM did not discontinue the satin blade version.
That's what dads are forFor sure. Though I will say the new Adira gives me “Turret 2.0” kinda vibes.
I actually pulled it out tonight because my elder son expressed that he wanted a new BM, and I don’t want him to spend today’s prices. Since I have a few to work with, I pulled out the Presidio 2, which I think is a great knife and comparable in a lot of ways (I think this is the third one I’ve had), and the Turret for consideration.
He’s getting the Presidio 2, and I’m keeping the Turret. Figured I might as well put it in the pocket since I was fumbling through the collection.
I don’t have either Adira, but it’s good lookin. I was just basing it on what I’ve seen in photos and heard people talk about here and elsewhere. Already having a Turret, I couldn’t justify getting one because they are so similar in shape/style, and, frankly I’ve always been fine with S30v, so the newer steel choice is not necessarily a must buy trigger for me. But you never know. I might pick one up later if I find a good enough deal. That's what dads are for
Interesting that you bring up the new Adira. Do you have the mini or full size? I have the mini, and would say I wished It was a hint larger. But... then it wouldn't be mini anymoreI am easily talked into a new BM. It's just money...

Always liked that model. Not the factory thumb studs so much, but everything else.Well bingo, I finally found a reasonably priced, new 531. Satin, flat grind, G-10 handles, 0.09" blade "thinness"; a winner

I like this idea of this knife, and think it looks good. I’m not so stoked about that sheath, but if it works it works. How is it?
I mulled over a turret for a long time but never ended up getting one. See that one makes me regret it! But oh well can't get ALL the knives. At least that's what my wife says.
Is that a fullsize bugout? I'm considering those Archon Scales for the mini Bugout I have, but I'm debating just buying a fullsize with Archon scales.
