Blade is from Transparent Knives, #tk-40. Scales are Rockscale Design. The rest is original from a 940.

Tk does sweet reblades. I got this one first and then grabbed a wharncliffe flat ground blade with a hole opener. Both are magnacut 64-5hrc. I thought the second would be my ideal 940, but this hollow ground one is just so thin bte it slices quick and deep so is preferable for cutting for me. The thumb spot really grew on me as well. The only caveat is it's heavier than a normal 940 blade and makes the knife blade heavy in regular 940 scales (the other doesn't).

Here's both next to a regular 940 for comparison

I got to say I quite like that high grind on the #40, I bet it cuts well.

Very cool mods! Those TK blades are SWEET.

I recently added a Redoubt to my Benchmade box and I’m super impressed with the whole kaboodle. Not the coolest-looking handle but it’s incredible in the hand. And the blade is great.
