Brief question if I may. In you second picture, the knot on your lanyard (on the right, closest to your CR), it's not a snake knot, not a diamond knot. What is it? It looks great. This was actually a few days ago, carried in anticipation of receiving an even bigger Benchmade which is one I've wanted for a long time.

That's a Crown and Diamond knot, not to be confused with what's regularly known as a Diamond knot. That's a bit more of a "side" view on that CR pic you mentioned. I have a pair of snakes on the other end as I changed beads using the same tail which originally had C&D's on both ends. There wasn't enough on that already trimmed paracord to tie up the same knot again as you need even more waste cord than usual to correctly tie a C&D. Here's one of that knife that shows it a bit more clearly.Brief question if I may. It's definitely a knot I like a lot and I have it on quite a few of my knives. There's also an Extended Crown & diamond with an additional lobe to it. Here's a pic of a pair of those on one of my 710's.
