Which Benchmade are you carrying today?

The 53 for the last two days, today the 490 is back.

What benchmade should I EDC? I have a 940 but prefer to keep it in 'pretty' condition. I looked at their website and they seem to all be very bulky, hard-use knifes?

Bulky??? Maybe a couple of the hard use blades, Adamas?? Most are sleek IMO.

This is a beefy one, but I wouldn't call it bulky.

Had been running the standard 154cm blade in this one for a while. I finally got the notion to swap out for a black axis bar and thumb stud and decided to go ahead and pop in a s90v blade as well. Haven't used it much yet, but I'm anxious to see how much better the super steel holds up.

Don't light the torches just yet, it's just an old standard production 942. Somebody had the aluminum scales nickel plated before I bought it. Out of my whole collection, that's my favorite knife, probably because it's a cool looking knife that I actually USE. Most of the beauty queens only come out for pics, but this one stays in the edc rotation. The nickel finish has held up wonderfully. It doesn't show any signs of wear on the scales or the clip, other than dirt that will wash off. It is a little slick in the hand, but I prefer it instead of the chalky feel.

I still don't like you!!

:p I wish I knew who did it so I could get some more knives done like it. When I first got it I was gonna polish the flats, but I tested that out on the inside of the scales and the plating was too thin, so I just left it like it is.
