Not yet. I have a griptillian and a mediator, just getting different opinions. Maybe when the time is right might look at the Spyderco para 2 a little harder. Pretty sure I ruled out the bugout.

I swapped the scales on a Bugout for one of my plumbers at work and realized the factory plastic scales are not enough. Once the Flytanium micarta scales were on, it felt like a great solid knife. I have developed a taste for older 154cm Grips (which is kind of like having a left foot fetish), as they are damn near perfect users and fun to collect. None of the newer models seem to interest me as much. Thinking of starting a "Bring back the Contego and Rift" camapign.

The 940 is such a classic and such a great knife I think everyone should have at least one.
I’ve always been a Spyderco guy (However, I’m not one of those fanboys who won’t carry anything other then a Spydie) I am a big guy, not fat but 6’4” 225lbs, and I have big hands… the PM2 is what I normally EDC. However, a while back my friend showed me his Griptillian w/ Spydie hole and sheepsfoot blade and I fell in love with it. Ordered mine, thew on some AWT scales and been carrying it for about 2 months now.
All that to say, that I think it depends on the individual user… we are all different sizes, and have different opinions on what feels good. Try several out and see which one feels best for YOU. Good luck!
