If you could only choose -one- busse knife to survive with, which would it be?

Keep in mind this would be a knife that would have to perform all tasks being small or big because it'd be the only one you would have. Looking forward to hearing opinions on the best Busse survival knife.

Tough one. Probably a KZII.........It can chop, be used as a draw knife, has enough belly for skinning in an emergency, and I can break stuff with it........

Something more practical like Mistress variation would be easier to use at a lot of stuff.

I have a B11 also, and it would be a much better all arounder.

What if you need to skin and gut a rabbit or sage hen...or clean and filet a trout?
I think a smaller knife would be a better all rounder.
6" Busse is big enough to be pressed into service as a chopper in an emergency.

Still waiting on Jerry to invent the light saber. That's my choice.

Until then... NMSFNO is a pretty good choice.

Basic 10, either choil or not. It'll chop, and is nice and light for choking up on... and if needed, you could grasp the blade (carefully ;)) by the spine & flats up further for more control with the tip. I'd imagine that you could easily gut a couple of fish, prep small game, etc. with it. Nice flat spine for anything you might need something more blunt for (whack a fish, etc.). Large comfortable handle, and easy to carry.

Looking forward to the Basic 8... Might be even better for a one-knife-fits-all type scenario.

B11

Everything else could be done with a folder.

Wait... we get to choose a folder too??? ;) Might change the decision, lol! :D

Probably a NMSFNO. It can do pretty much everything.

+1, really.
I started with that one above and did a stealth edit down to the Sar 6.
I own a muddy / sage NMSFNO and it really is my favorite all arounder.
(There, now I have two in the list as well!) :D
