Which Busse would YOU choose?

CGASH1

Beefy enough for rough work and small enough for finer work. An awesome all rounder...

......great minds certainly do think alike.... :) :)

I'm afraid I agree with Leatherman. Steel Heart Ergo. Goes with me everywhere!

Iit depends on the survival situation and surroundings. If there was plentiful medium to small sized wood that just needed to be trimmed and a little batoning, then it would be my favorite ASH1 LE. It is the perfect all around camp knife. If it required substantial prep, chopping, splitting then long-term something larger, maybe in the SFNO family.

You too? :) I thought I was the only one. :D

The SHe and the NOe and an occasional Badger are all I need, and this BA3. That's all I need. This BMe could come in handy, and THAT's all I need!!! The Mean Street, AND THAT"S IT!!! well....

love the saberground SFNO, it can do everything I ask, cut off limbs from Batoning, build a shelter, good size for usage, and not too heavy.. love it.. This one is uglier than crap with that spotted painted blade, but man it feels so good I just don't care :)

If I had to go just a little bit bigger, the FSH would be the one,

I'm really sorry to hear that you find your desert sand SNFO so ugly. You know, I am such a good semaritan, I'd consider taking it off your hands. Just the kind of guy I am :D

Me? I think my .17"GW would serve me very well in a survival sitch. Short of chopping, I can't imagine wanting more. Plus, they say the best survival knife is the one you've got on you at all times.

If I were just going to have one cutting tool--just one--no saw, axe, folder, etc. and I was going to be far out from creature comforts...hmmm, probably would go with HOGFSH just cuz it has the heft/bulk necessary to work in multiple different rolls, but is still relatively portable and small enough for finer work. Its also about as bombproof as the come. Just need to get a sheath for it.

Honorable mention: HHFSH, SFNO, and Tankbuster.

If i had to carry only one knife for for survival, it would be my Basic 11. One knife cant do it all, but with the B 11 you can do a lot:D:D:D

Tough call...

SAR-8
BWM-LE
FSH

Probably my FSH Variant - 8.5", .281", 2" wide blade.

I'm really looking forward to the NMFSH!:thumbup:;):)

If I can have a folder too - make it a Sebbie...

If I'm going subdued, #1 SFNO-FATTY and #2 CGFBM
Not subdued, #1 Fusion FURY and #2 SOS-NMFBM

Best all around, the NMSFNO:

If you need to go light, the Desert Storm Fighter:

If you need to put a serious hurt on something, the Team Gemini:

Looking forward to the SARGE-7 ;)

Backpack...5/16th SHSH Variant and Drop Point Lean Mean. The Car, A Variant like no other, I think it's based of of a SFNO, in the Bug Out Van..the "Chuckette" and I'm hoping If I can talk the buyer back out of it the FBMLE Variant along with a SAR 8, SAR 6 and a SAR 4 , I think I'll add the EDC too.

That's one...depending on what I have to run with :)

There are a LOT of great candidates for this role ... for me this is like asking if you could only have "one Busse" which would it be ?

The top slots for me are my Nuclear TTKZ, Asm Basic 11 and Asm Basic 9 ... although I have a great fondness for my NMFBM and my BWM LE too.

I chose the Basic 9 for my "belt kit" on the basis the others flap around when worn on the belt if running and are too long to wear diagonally around the back without catching your arms when moving ... or being in the way when sitting ...

But ... if I had to choose just one ... it would have to be the one I like the best ... I think it would be my Nuclear TTKZ carried in a shoulder rig ...
