I knew about the Glock suit and the settlement in which S&W paid some amount and agreed to change one detail in their Sigma pistol ("completely" = ?). As for the rest of your claims, any source besides yourself? I know S&W had to fight like crazy to defend their early patents.

Not my favorite brand due to memories of the Clinton deal.

The big three all waffled during the Clinton Era. Ruger with his "no honest man needs more than 10 rounds" statement, and Colt basically abandoning the civilian market.
