Which color combo would you consider most subdued?

Which color combo do you consider the most subdued?

If you're going for subdued I'd try to get (if it was an option) Khakie or CB with FG instead of OD. OD is a wee more bold IMHO. Also I'm so tempted to ask, "WHY?" because I was told not to. But I won't. Though... if you wanted to tell me, that would be cool too.

I'm sure whatever Katie has up her sleeve will be cool, but I'm with you it's hard to pick colors for something when you don't know what it is, haha. Oh ye of little faith!
 
Khaki and Dk. Brown. I live in a desert area, with dry mountains close. These colors blend in excellent.

OD Green and Dark Brown would be nearly as good but isnb't one of the combos mentioned.
 
I think it really depends on what it's going on or what it is... if it's a patch or something that's in an urban setting, a lot of people have black bags, etc... so a black and OD will be more "subdued", as it'll blend better... But if it's a small knife sheath, I may think that brown and khakis can sometimes work better because people wear khakis a lot.. But I'd think khakis and OD goes best if it's going on my camping pack, since it's mostly khakis and OD to blend with the surroundings.

You see where I'm going with this? I voted Khakis and brown, but it can go either way...
 
ok, here it is... I was just thinking (that don't happen often) when polls are created I think they're biased when people remark on what they voted.. the only way for it to be more accurate is to simply vote and to make it even more accurate the poll results shouldn't be shown until the last vote is accepted..

I'm not keeping my precious vote a secret just didn't want everyone to follow my magnet lead:D..

I voted Khaki/Dark Brown but OD/Black was close. I'd prefer foliage green more than od but that's just me.
 
I am kind of surprised to see a combo that contains black in the lead for the "most discreet". Black doesn't really work in any camo true black doesn't exist in the natural world. There is a reason it is called "target indicator black".

True black doesn't exist in the natural world? That's not true... what about the inside of a hole in the ground, certain soil is black, night is black, etc. There's plenty of uses for black in camo patterns. Navy SEALS black their faces out on ops, woodland used to be the most effective camo & it has black. Black isn't bad unless you dress/paint in TOTAL black.
