Recently I’ve been carrying the EDC while working around my house. It’s helped me clean up some drywall on a recent project and cut exceptionally well.

Today, it helped me pry out the glow plug wiring harness while changing out the plugs in my 6.0. A few of the connectors broke and forced me to use a sharp point to pry and pull out the broken end; the EDC had the job and came out unharmed ( I jumped each time I pried and the plastic connector broke). The Magnacut tip stayed intact.

My work outfit ....

Today and tomorrow we'll empty the storage units (three 10x20, one 10x10, ~1000 boxes, furniture, etc.) into the house. We'll stay in the cabin for another couple of months until the chaos in the house is sorted out. Wish us luck !

When the BFK5 was announced and available for pre-order I sold my FK2 and replaced it with the 5.
Later edit: the FK2 is a great blade but for me personally, trying to keep my holdings to a somewhat limited number of strictly users, it made more sense to me that when I felt I needed more knife than my folder or the CPK EDC provided I would skip the 4.6” and go up a bit to the 5.5”

Besides the FK3 being such a good lookin’ knife, your gray Terotuf scales w/ blue Ti hardware really compliment it.

My HDFK has been getting some good use lately. Used it to cut the necks open on 1100 expired bottles today, fun fun.
And cut up over 10,000 outdated labels over the last few days.
