Puts the E In Everyday.

The DEKs really are a great everyday carry. I didn’t need the overbuilt toughness of the DEK2, so I have a couple DEK1s.

They took over from the FK1 (the FK1 has a flatter handle, making it easier in Scout carry than the FK2/FK3, and the FK3 is longer).

For me, they really fit the EDC role (tried one of the EDCs, and I found those smaller than I prefer for fixed blades. Can’t even imagine R trying to use one. Probably two fingers and the thumb, with pinky extended ).

Compared to the FK2, it prints less when in the pocket, more convenient. There are always compromises with those CPK !
