FIxed the last toilet leak and switched the house water on, fingers crossed for good.
With the high price of copper these days, that is enough material to convert into a matched pair of K18’s with change to spare. That is some impressive plumbing work!

I didnt think I needed a chopper once. I got in on the pre-order anyway. Figured it would be an easy resell at worst. Then when my LC arrived, and I pulled it out of the packaging, I knew it was a keeper. After using it, I cant imagine losing it. Now I question whether I "need" other variations lol.

It hasn’t been too bad. I can’t imagine coming here in the summer. Zion is definitely one of the most amazing places I’ve been. Sadly, someone fell from Angels Landing today. The back half of the canyon has been closed all afternoon.

Did the AL hike. Took some pics down the narrowest part of the ridge
With no frame of reference, you can’t really tell that it’s a steep drop wayyyyy down, in those pics. Looked like I took a photo of dirt. Had the same thing happen when I took photos at the Taroko Gorge in Taiwan, leaning out over the edge. Photos came out looking like I took a photo of a stream with some little pebbles in it (those rocks in the river at the bottom were the size of houses).
Got to Angel’s Landing and thought, “I wonder if I can get a pic of the drop from here”. Started edging towards the drop (good thing I was wearing really grippy shoes. 5.10 Guide Tennies with Stealth rubber, known for their grip on rock with their climbing shoes).
I got to the point where I realized Angel’s Landing is a dome. It just curves away to the drop, and I was going to fall off way before I’d be able to get a photo of the drop (unless I wanted to take the pic mid-flight), and slowly backed up.

We went to the Volunteer Fire Department pancake breakfast this morning. It was the first time since my injury 4 or 5 months ago that I had seen all the people that came and helped me out and got me loaded on to the helicopter. It was pretty cool.
