Correct, it’s the OG Tri-Rag, not to be confused with Tri-Color Micarta. Great stuff…not as durable as some Micarta but so unique and pleasing to the eye, IMO. It also has a specific and grippy texture.

Now that I’ve talked it up a bit, I do NOT recommend buying any OG TRI-RAG MICARTA SCALES THAT APPEAR ON THE EXCHANGE (if they fit any CPKs that I own) .

I always thought they went well with multicam, so I got a set for the OG UF.

Great choice, my man. I think @Nathan the Machinist ‘s original description involved making the scales from BDU material and some kind of adhesive.Of course, there’s an element of red material in the mix also.

My man. You know I'm a UF fan. Westinghouse, Wood and ECAM on my UFs/DEF. Which tells you about my favorite scales.
