Which CRKT knife should I get next ?

Andre,
The Kaspar is the knife of the year as far as I'm concerned. I picked mine up in Sharp Edge last time I was over there. I think you'll like it a lot

When i first received my CRKT POINT GUARD i was sort of disappointed...no real reason, just kind of vague. but over the past few weeks it has "grown" on me, it is really a fine small knife and am glad i got it now. it feels better in my hand every time i pick it up now.

Take the full size Kasper.
I carry it all day long as a backup (i'm police officer). It is heavy but you'll forget it rapidly.
Fits the hand like a glove. Razor sharp out of the box. Really strong.
A great knife!!!

Went to Sharp Edge on Saturday, the biggest knife shop in S.A. Checked out the large Point Guard and the KFF. The KFF is a big ass knife, but it's strong , sharp and the action is like butter. It may be a little heavy, but it fills the hand and I think it would provide some peace of mind if it were ever needed in a sticky situation. I've decided to get the large KFF within the next two months when finances permit. It's a really great knife for the price.

Thanks all for the suggestions.

Next question, do I get straight edge or combo? I've always bought straight edges but don't mind the serrated. (one of my Sydercos has a serrated blade which I like).

I bought my son a Mirage and he loves it. I have a large and medium S2 and these are fantastic knives. (I am partial to metal handled knives). These are smooth, slim and the blades are sharp and tough. The medium S2 I have has partial serrations and is my daily carry knife. I strongly recommend it!

I'm a "go all out" kind of guy and I will add my vote for the large Crawford/Kasper folder. I'ts big mind you, but like someone else already mentioned, if you can find a nice nylon belt sheath or if you can carry it in your backpack you'll love it. Now if you want something to keep in your pocket to trim your nails with......that's another story.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I picked up the large Crawford/Kasper this weekend. The salesman also looked at me with the "why do you want such a big folder expression". I just told him it was time to get a big ass knife!

While I was at the dealer other folks came in and bought 2 of the KISS models. As I was leaving another guy was checking out an M16 and an Urban Shark. The CRKT counter really had everyone's attention.
