Which Folders Do You OWN and LOVE, but DON'T Carry?

Yes, they're doing the same thing with knives that they did with guns, but you have to do things like that to get the murder rates down. If you didn't have laws against guns and knives, criminals would be using them left and right, eh? Then no one would be safe.

You can still carry a Spyderco if you round the tip of the blade and grind off the edge. There are some S30V butterknives available also, I'm told. They're perfectly legal, too, as long as you have a hot roll in one hand and some cold butter in the other.

Actually, it's a sad state of affairs. But...does anyone over there even have a hint it's all foolishness?

None of this is goig to help the crime rates in your country. It just removes your means of defending yourselves.

CRKT Desert Cruiser- too big, LOVE the egros

BM 710- gonna get me arrested

Kershaw JYD II- funny carried loose in the pocket, gonna get me arrested clipped, especially with the funky looking clip

Spyderco Church Mouse- uber rarity keeps it from coming with me

CRKT Wasp- knife pivot too loose for NYC, though it is elegant looking

OilMan,

What kind of knife is that in your pic ?
Looks pretty cool.

Sag.

It's one of the first run of TAD Dauntlesses done by Allen Elishewitz. You can see more here: http://www.g3l33m.com/knives/elishewitz.htm
I'm gonna be wrong but it seems like he did 10 in Micarta and 10 in CF or G10. Allen also did another run of Dauntlesses but it seems like they were bigger. This one is the exact right size.:thumbup:
I'm also thinking it's TAD's design and other makers do a version of it too. So far I've seen a Elishewitz, Bogi, Hinderer, and Munroe version, and there's probably more.

I have 1 that I really don't carry because it is too nice and I would hate to get it scratched up, and that is my SOG Arcitect. It came perfectly polished and I intend to keep it that way. I also have a couple others, with one being the BM Dejavoo 740. I like this knife but it is too light for my tastes and therefore gets left in the box. The other is a ZT0301, and I don't carry it because too much of the handle sticks out of my pocket. I do carry the ZT0200 as I can tolerate the amount of it that sticks out, when it is carried tip up that is. The 4th and final knife I do not carry is my Microtech Combat Trooden DA/OTF. Why? because it is a DA/OTF!! I will sometimes take it to show some folks, but carry it in a knife pouch when I do.

As of today I've started carrying one of my small UG Sebs. I will also start carrying one of the large ones on the weekends. The other ones are well, just too damn nice to carry around. I also carry a Spyderco Native III. I have 15 other Native variations that I won't carry, my collection. I have other Spydie models, several Kershaws and a few Santa Fe Stoneworks knives that I won't carry. Sebs and Native, my EDC.

My wife bought me a brand spanking new Sypderco Endura 4 pe, and i've never carried it. it seems i'm on a slipjoint binge right now and just can't fit it in. ahgar

Hi Confederate. No, since the knife and gun laws got super harsh here ( handguns banned in 1996 ) both gun and knife crime are up several hundred percent.
The media goes into a frenzy over knife crime, always blaming the knives and not the perps. Borders even stopped stocking 'Blade' magazine due to media pressure saying it was knife porn that encouraged sociopaths!
Still, I try to stay cheery!:D

I carry, everyday, my Crawford 3.8 Tanto. The knife is light- weight, slim, and the s30v 3.8 blade is all I'll need. Also, this frame-lock design is rock solid yet simple. Check one out.
