Carry the ebony, keep the stag and brass for the collection or resale value.
 
Like @afishhunter I don't want to make anyone mad so I'll just say I can't select what knife you carry no better than I can select the clothes you put on. Just decide and go for it no one here will ever know what's in your pocket and most likely anyone you use it in front of will not pay attention to it and won't remember it either so you will be the only one aware of what you are carrying so again it's up to you.

Outstanding mod. If they'd come from the factory in that blade configuration, I would have been all over this pattern.

Perhaps, but as I like to tell my daughter who often struggles making decisions, seemingly paralyzed by choice. Embrace your ability to choose, it's always nice to have options, and there will be more than enough times when this world doesn't give you any say in the matter.
 
The brass one is gross. I like buck 110 style knives with brass and brown wood, but something about the shape of the 44 combined with those materials is repulsive to me on a primordial level. Or something.

I prefer ebony out of your choices, but since stag can either be shaped like your hand or feel like a dented sack of antlers crawling with broken glass wasps, it would depend on the fatness of the stag (or not) which one I would like to carry most.

Ps: it's your pocket, other people's opinions shouldn't matter at all to what you wish to drop into it.
 
I have a Northfield 66 in sambar stag. There is nothing uniform from side to side as far as the stag scales go but the makers did a stellar job with matching them to the particular knife.
They feel like they were custom made for my specific hand. Absolutely perfect fit.
All that being said, the ebony one you posted really caught my eye.

I understand the whole, what should I use question on this one. I was pretty annoyed that GEC used plain bolsters I the stag for this run. The most premium of covers got the plain treatment?! Regardless, hands down, stag is the choice. It really Does make your knife unique..... awesome texture in hand, regardless of looks.

Thank you, everyone, for your opinions. So far the choices are evenly spread. I will be carrying the stag one as a user.

I created the thread because I wanted to participate. I am learning how to create threads and having fun doing it. Plus, I don't want to have to ask for a waiver in order to get the next Forum Knife.
