which gec knife are you having a hard time finding and buying?

There's plenty that are just sold out everywhere I know to look. I mean good luck finding a 1095 single blade #48 or a #66 jack in any handle option other than hideous orange (or w/e they called that bone color) or a #73LB clip or wharnie (before this most recent run). There's plenty more but those three are the knives that I've wanted and looked for with no luck.

Yeah, I got in late on the #66 Jacks. I've run across a few and keep looking. Fine knife.

HB, here is a water snakes Cuban from '08. It's the only one I've ever seen, but there may be 73s as well.

that's ok. thanks anyway and good luck with finding your next knife.

Don't give up, watch the exchange. I fell in love with this knife when it was posted in the carrying thread and I finally got the opportunity to purchase it.

This thread has me intrigued with all the variations - especially the acrylics. Not really following the theme of the thread with hard to find items, I took a look at one vendor who has a pretty extensive collection of GEC's available. I found 41 different variations of acrylic handles there. Now I have to have at least one - only to choose.........

Im looking for a Single Spear Gabon Ebony TC Barlow.
And Im VERY interested in a 2009 Forum Barlow.
The exchange is ridiculously quick at turning things over.. almost would have to live there to catch one of my two wanteds.

i wouldn't hold your breath on another run. i'm hoping for a clip point blade barlow but i doubt they will be making more anytime soon.

I'm hoping for Charlow spears and clips some time in 2014, if we are lucky.

I'm surprised nobody has said the 2011 forum knife.

That is a hard one to find. I've missed 3 on the for-sale forum within minutes of them being sold.

I got lucky and scored an ebony wood 66 Jack last night. I've been looking for one in ebony ever since I sold the one I once had to another member last year.

Recently, I've been trying to get my hands on a SFO Northfield #85 EO Single Blade Jack for a while now. I think it's kind of fun to hunt for a hard to find knife. I will enjoy it immensely if I eventually find one that I've been on the lookout for.

Also on the hunt for the 2009, but its not a GEC. ;)

Ugh, I am still on the hunt for that 440c #72 clip lockback in ruby redbone. I know I won't find one, but I'm still looking anyway!

I was just fortunate enough to pick one up of the exchange ( still anxiously waiting for it in the mail). In my search though I emailed Waynorth and he said he hopes their will be another run of clip point barrows in 2014!
