I am craving a thread with some good discussion and GREAT pics so here's the question-
What is in your opinion, the very best knife ever made by Busse, the Swamp, and the Scrap Yard respectively? Focus on why it is the best for you and what you love about it! Please include PICTURES lots and lots of pictures!
If you can't decide, list more than one!!! If you want, include a cool story about using the blade you picked!
Ill go First
From Busse
The NMFBM. Ive only used it for about a week but I am blown away by how comfortable and powerful this knife is! I love everything about it and think it is the best use of INFI to date. Erogs, weight, power, and balance are unreal. The NMFBM convinced methere isn't a better steel for a big chopper than INFI. I think the coating is going to be gone before it stops shaving
From the Swamp-
I think there is a tie between the Rat Daddy LE and the Ratmandu with an honorable mention going to the M9
The Rat Daddy is light, fast, well balanced and a mean knife. It is so nimble in hand and functional that I could carry it and not bring another small blade with me. The blade length makes it a great chopper and battoner while the choil and ultra light weight make it a fantastic knife.
Next is The RMD is just about perfect. No hot spots, a blade that is long enough for the big stuff, short enough for the small stuff, and stout enough that you couldn't break it if you tried. I will always own at least one.
the M9 is the best big blade that is still a knife before being a chopper. Its not the best at any task but is a jack of all trades and a great represention of the classic "Big do it all Bowie." Rambo would approve.
From the Scrap Yard
Dogfather all the way!
A beastly chopper that is very light. the closest thing we have seen to a Res C battle mistress.
