Pete, of the Cedric & Ada Youtube channel, just posted a pretty hilarious video with a typically tongue-in-cheek description of the 10 kinds of knife guys. Which one(s) are you?

I'd definitely like to watch it before I pick one.

I’ll play. I think I would fit in the All Rounder/Compulsive Collector group. I could easily be a Social Flatlayer even though I don’t know what that is. As for the Case knife thing, yeah I got a bunch of em, it’s my heritage. I’m 66, born and raised in Alabama. My Mom had seven brothers. My Dad had three brothers. That’s ten uncles ALL OF THEM pocketed Case knives. They skinned deer, squirrels, rabbits and the occasional goat with them. They cut fuel lines for their Buicks, removed insulation from electrical wiring, basically one knife did it all. So for me the Case pocket knife is iconic. Of course as time passed I moved on to all the brands we know and love today. I even reluctantly tried some Chinese made knives, and wow am I glad I did. My collection is quite extensive. And for the record I have a vintage motorcycle collection, an insane number of HotWheels and oh yeah flashlights.

Dang, I do some collecting for sure with nine PM2s, wanting the whole Espada line, SAK collecting has been easiest on the wallet, but I am all about using, want to do some tinkering (making my own "Buck 112" from a snapped tip OT folding hunter with sandpaper glued to a block and a file, no power tools). I am into SD blades and combat blades for fun, and... I did the Kudu thing, I love my Spyderco, my Vics, my Cold Steel...

I identify as a all around Spyderco user.
Spyderco are almost always a daily carry exclusively.
