Which Kizer are you carrying today?

Porky Yorkie

Boggles my mind why Kizer doesnt make the flipper version of this in an XL.

Every decent looking affordable folder is apparently mandated to have a sub 3" blade and it's really hurting my feelings lol.

Oh that's the Keen, made by WE, though it is a fair bit more pricey, and it's a framelock

I actually prefer the subtle handle difference on the yorkie.

My grail is an mbk xlc flipper without the lanyard hole, but the only problem is I dont think I could properly use such a pricey knife.

Around $135ish or below is justifiable for abuse, anything in the $250 plus price range just makes me feel funny lol.

Probably end up grabbing a feist xl and call it a day, but not a big fan of front flippers :(

That is a beautiful yorkie.

That Feist is pretty neat too. I love the look of the fat carbon.

It took me a long time to finally bite on the original size, it was pleasant enough but never made my shopping list if you know what I mean. The Friday Club put out a run of them, I have an ebony M390, the Lundquist wide chord drop point in 4V, the denim micarta/blacked out framelock, the first Purple Haze, and the XL here just feels so different. If the standard Feist is basically a modern knife interpretation of the Barlow pattern that sticks to the strengths and use style of the traditional, the XL feels like a truly modern knife version of the same thing. It's hard to describe, but it's a very different beast because every dimension is just more and it has a nice feel in the hand as a result.

I was in the same boat. I like the XL version enough that I finally pulled the trigger on a denim micarta version of the regular. I just haven't put it through "new knife orientation" yet.
