which knife do you... fondle?

I usually fondle the newest knife until I get a newer one then I fondle that until I get a newer newer one and so on...

Same here. Today it’s my day-old Zancudo. Some people call it fondling; I prefer to call it "breaking it in".

PM2 and Benchmade 940. Both great for fondling, flicking, admiring. I bet a Benchmade Adamas would be great for some sittin around fondling...

What knife do I fondle...?
Whatever knife I'm EDCing at the moment.
I tend to fondle all my knives, it's just a habit. It's part of "knives as a hobby" for me.
Today, it's the first "real" knife I ever bought for $20 6 or 7 years ago, the Kershaw Skyline.

I'm spending today fondling an "old-school" flipper (washers only) before my fancy new 0560BW arrives tomorrow :)
Having already flipped open a 0560 a few times, I can say it makes the Skyline seem like a chore to open ( and mine is well broken in )

I am always glad to find that I'm not the only one who does this. My ZT flippers, along with the PM2 compression lock, are my favorites with which to play.

The PM2 (and I think some Benchmades) become very easy to open and close one-handed with a flick of the wrist in either direction.
Once you get it down, it's almost like fondling a butterfly knife (balisong whatever) :P You can one-hand open & close very quickly using centrifugal force.

Hey Icky thump, what's the benchmade in that top ohoto? When I have my gerber warrant strapped to my leg I am always pulling it out and playing with it. When I first bought my Charge tti I did the same. I also do it a bit with my Buck 110 rip off.

Depends on the mood. Most of the time my knives seem to unconsciously find there way into my hands, whether it my Spyderhawk or my Sebenza 21, both of which I EDC. If I'm feeling Active in my fondling then it's usually the bali-Song 51.

My newest folder- a Buck Tops CSAR-T folder. Super solid folder. Heavy, but I have large hands.

All of them!

Right now it's an Emerson Journeyman, because I just got it today.

I have to agree! My newest now is an EKI Combat Karambit, HOWEVER, I'm good to all of my babies (my girlfriend hates it when I call them that) when I'm sitting at my desk waiting for my girlfriend to get ready before we go out, I take them out and fondle them all a little bit, I also make sure to keep them oiled and sharp :)

SOG Pentagon Elite 1. I hardly use it I just sit around fondling it. I can't bring myself to dull it because I know that sharktooth point will be a bitch to sharpen without leaving ugly marks. It's just one of those knives that doesn't benefit from a used look. It's more like a fine watch or a piece of jewelry imo.
