Which knife has cut you the most?

I keep jabbing myself with the tip of my Boker Keycom every time I tried to use the little monster. I've since abandoned it in my junk knife box as a direct result of this.

I had a Benchmde Mini-Grip tanto that could have grievously injured me. Several times my thumb slipped when opening it, and slid down the edge of the blade. Fortunately it was so dull from the factory* that I never actually cut myself with it. :D

*I swear to Crom I'm not trying to troll. I'm actually grateful that particular knife was so dull. It provided me with a valuable learning experience! ;)

Hinderer XM-18. It has nothing to do with the design of the knife. For some reason we just don't always get along.

Kershaw Leek, specifically the first 1/4" of the blade likes to bite me.

I've had 3 Spyderco Manix 2's....All 3 have cut me more times...Than any other knife combined, in my life.....Mostly from closing it on my Finger, by pulling the Lock back and swinging it closed....

I have fumbly hands with very small pocket knives. My SAK Classic almost cut me a few times due to the tiny blade that wants to close all the time. I switched that out for a Buck Bantam Nano, which has a weird lockback mechanism close to the butt. It also almost closed on me several times. Finally switched that out for a Spyderco LadyBug. In my opinion, the LadyBug is the best designed keychain-sized knife in the world. The lockback mechanism is solid and well thought-out. I use it with 100% confidence that it is not/not going to close on my fingers unless I want it to. :D

Any smaller knives. I think I just get a better grip on bigger knives, plus I think I tend to be more careful with them. Of course the smaller ones are going to be razor sharp as well, but given their smaller size, I guess I just overlook them.

A chopper I used to have bit me deeply in the top of the thumb. I stupidly was: not wearing gloves, it was cold outside, and going too fast and too close to my damn hand. Chopped my thumb, sheathed the knife, squeezed my thumb, (had a big flap of skin flayed from it), walked inside and yelled at my older son to get in the bathroom and help me.

He was so excited (teenager) and kept asking me to see it as I gushed blood into the sink. I finally had to ask him to politely shut the hell up and get me more tape to close the wound. BIG learning experience. Could have lost a thumb being so careless.

My izula! Got me last night. Shouldn't handle knives during World Series games, I guess.

I had a Queen/Burke small barlow that cut me twice after I reprofiled the D2 blade. Sold it after the second time I needed stitches.

Never been cut more than once by the same knife, but it always seems to be traditionals that get me. The one time I had to go to the Emergency Room, it was from a Case Peanut. The little blade has a really strong pull, and it makes it difficult to close. I was closing it, and the handle turned in my hands from the force, and it snapped shut right on the joint in the middle of my index finger like a little moustrap. Cut clean through the flesh. Been about 6 months and it still hurts from time to time, but the scar is barely visible.

I have noticed that my knives like to bite others that handle them. Think I am up to 6 different coworkers over the last few years that have ended up in the emergency room from borrowing my knives. I probably should have stopped letting others use them after the second one, but I think I have a sick curiosity about when its gonna happen next...:P

Probably this GEC Congress, but only because I cleverly insist on opening all four blades at once, whereupon it undergoes a startling transformation from benign pocketknife to flying wheel of razor-edged death.

buck sirus. forgot i put it in my back pocket and my wallet with some other stuff to just get it off of the kitchen table. well i ended up emptying my pants and forgot to put the lock on the knife and it opened up. didn't know it was opened and reached for my wallet and sliced up my finger. blood is everywhere and my girl is freaking out. i'm yelling at her to shut up so i can think and i gotta run to the bathroom to clean up my finger and put some biotin on it and then used some butterfly strips. i should of got stitches but i had no insurance and was all screw it i'll use butterfly strips. now a few years later and my finger is fine. if a knife has a lock use it theres a reason for it.

Bear & Sons balisong that I used to play with all the time while growing up - got cut a bunch of times and still loved it
Bear & Sons taught me blood me my blood isn't incredibly slippery. Good times...

I have an ol' Holm & Sons straight razor that has gotten me good a few times. I'll probably keep making boot clips for 'er until she gets something important. It's only sporting
