Which knife is your "easy chair" TRADITIONAL knife?

I keep several and they rotate often:

  1. Bose/Case Sowbelly
  2. Case Scout Jr. in stag
  3. Northfield Conductor in blood red jigged bone
  4. Northwoods Norfolk in light ebony
  5. Northfield pemberton in snakewood
  6. Northfield Western Outlaw in natural stag
  7. The Tool by JK Knives
  8. Leatherman (mid-'80s)
  9. Opinel No. 8 in bubinga
  10. Victorinox Swiss Army Huntsman in hardwood

And in my pocket - a dark red jigged bone Peanut.

I cleaned and oiled these last night while watching tv, I usually have a few beside me and my bottle of oil etc. This little Norfolk as been my nightly worry stone for a couple of weeks, working on the handle patina. ;-)

Best regards

Well I have an easy chair (a well used recliner) and it sits in my "I Love Me" corner amongst all my Marine Corps memorabilia. Above my head hangs a Marine Corps NCO sword (60th birthday gift from my best friend while in the Corps). Occasionally my latest acquisition will be on the table beside the chair. Close at hand to fondle and admire.

AHHH HA, that's it!!! I have had this Sanrenmu in the drawer for a while and gets used for misc., but the Opinel is what really belongs there I believe. (Heresy I know, but I just can't warm up to it for anything else)

Nice knife but not traditional. Let's keep to appropriate content, please.

Whatever knives I have in my pockets, when I park myself in the recliner, are the most likely candidates.

OOps, sry. Got carried away staying on topic. Here's a Stock of the Opi to even it out, and one of the last ones that was there for a while.

In fact, the background is the placemat on the table next to the chair.

I have many knives within reach of my easy chair, but my favorite for fondling while watching TV is a Keen Kutter coke bottle hunter with ebony handles.

I'm glad that I am not the only one that handles their knives while watching TV. Right now on my coffee table is a Boker Barlow and a GEC Boy's knife.

This thread is going to force me into an OCD habit I don't want to acquire, LOL. So far, they're all put away when I'm home!
