I'd go with the PM2 because it's significantly bigger than the Bugout and can do bigger jobs when needed. IMO Para3 and bugout are almost the same.

Another great reason is that PM2's are available for a song these days, even sprint runs. I wouldn't settle for anything less than M390 though. It's worth it.

Thanks for the input. Definitely want to build a collection that fills different needs and will move forward with the PM2. I just ordered a WE banter for the 35vn. So leaning towards a PM2 blurple with 110V. Do you know if I can oxidize the blade? Or do you suggest leaving it and just rit dying the G10 to a darker and blue.

I keep reading how much "BIGGER" the PM2 is than the Bugout.
In the hand? Yes.
It's not any bigger where it counts though.
The handle is bigger. So that gives it a longer overall length.
However, the blade length is basically the same. Thanks to the choil taking up about .5" of cutting edge on the PM2.
To me they are direct competitors. With the Mini Bugout duking it out with the PM3 for smaller blades.

I see it as the PM2 is a lateral move in regards to performance. With an improvement in ergonomics. If the idea is to suggest something that is truly bigger than a Bugout. Than a Military, Amalgam, or a Kapara would be a better suggestion than a PM2.
