Recommendation? Which knife under $250???

Yeah I should have specified more clearly that I was referring to the 0770 only about the assisted. I have handled both, and do think they are both great. I think I would go with the 0562CF if I did as it seems like a rock solid knife that would be able to be sold in a rather brief amount of time if I didn't want to hold onto it.
 
I share your preference for goods ergonomics.Since you already have one near the top of the ergonomics list, the PM2, let s look at some others. The Cold Steel American Lawman has great egonomics,and is one of the strongest knives you can use. The Recon 1 by Cold Steel is a bigger version of the Lawman,and an excellent work knife and all-around good knife. Excellent build quality also. Great bargain. Finally, as some mentioned in one of the earlier posts, the Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter is a very comfortable , strong knife, with great ergos and f and f that is very slicy. Excellent outdoor knife. All three of these can be found for great bargain prices.
