Which knife would you buy again after extended use?

What constitutes "extended use?"

The only knives I've had for a couple years are a Delica 4 and a Mini Grip (actually had both, sold both, then bought both again lol) and yes of course of I'd buy them again. They are staples for small modern folders.

Right now I would replace my large sebenza insingo and southard in a heartbeat. Both great knives.

I would certainly buy my Small Sebenza again! I also would probably buy another GEC model 73 as well.

As I own like 10+ of them, I suppose for me it would have to be the Benchmade 705/707. I generally prefer folders in the 3 inch range with a very compact profile. And not many folders in that size have a blade like the 707, which is a really useful blade for EDC.

I'd buy another Kershaw skyline, especially one with the Alabama Damascus blade. The normal 8cr13mov steel is OK but the Damascus holds an edge better in my opinion. Plus, it looks pretty sweet.

I think what you are asking is what is your favorite knife?

My favorite knife, and the one I would replace without hesitation (and because I bought four of them--so far) is the Zero Tolerance 0777 M390. Monster knife. Carries light and easy, gets wicked sharp and stays sharp, flips like a dream, amazing fit and finish. Just an all around awesome knife!

Otherwise, probably the Delica and Endura for sure, as well as the Kershaw Leek (just ordered my third version in blackwash with a composite blade).

no, not exactly!

my fav' knife is boker epicenter, it feels in hand better then anything i got
it's over priced china total fail of a frame lock, but still my fav. :)
but, i wouldn't recommend it, never!

Ontario RAT 1, I carried mine every day for a year after I lost my Buck 110. I've used it (folded) to pry many jammed tie down ratchets, hammer pins down, slice cardboard and plastic every day and have only ever had to touch up the edge with a couple strokes on a ceramic hone to keep it razor sharp.

Also, Buck 110, I lost the one I got from my mom, a couple years ago while hiking around the woods at my parents place, I miss that knife.

heh, I ordered today a RAT 1 alongside BM 275 Adams :)

I would have to say the Southern Grind Bad Monkey that has been in my pocket for 6 months or the ZT 0350 that I used consistently for almost 2 years. I still have both and would replace either in a second if I lost one!

GEC #15 Barlow

GEC Bull Nose

SAK Super Tinker/Alox Soldier

Izula II in a heartbeat:thumbup:

The Kershaw Blackout is one of my favorite knives ive owned over the years. When i was in the army I went through two of them and would have bought another one if I hadnt got a benchmade stryker as a gift. The Blackout is light weight and durable as hell, the only complaint I have about the knife is its a liner lock. The price is cheap and it will do practically anything you need to do for everyday use.

Micarta Sebenza 25. Used the regular enough that I have total confidence in it, and the micarta inlays make it feel slightly better in hand (just right!) than my plain slab 25 does.

So even though it just came out, so "extended use" does not EXACTLY apply, I would have to purchase this knife again if I lost it.

I would miss it too much, even with all my other CRKs and a plain 25 to keep me company. It's that good. But pricey!
