Which knives can you reccomend?

Smiling,
I just did a Google search for "Croatia knife makers" and came up with quite a few suggestions. No prices, though. What are the chances of you having something made locally?

I would totally grab a Manly fixed blade. The Patriot is a great size.
Well, it's currently out of stock on only website where I can order it from, but It'll be on stock in few days, right for Black Friday, so I'm having my hopes on it.

Chances aren't that good unfortunatley, because it costs way more than anything commercially available.

My solution is to try and get Many Patriot at Black Friday deal, and as backup for my Recon Tanto, I'll most likley just buy another Recon Tanto. But it's far from urgent since current one still performs the same as the day I bought it and there's no signs of damage on it, except some wear on blade coating which is to be expected. So since I have time, I might buy 3V version of the knife instead of another SK-5.

So, getting the Patriot for EDC is my current focus.

If you like the idea of a Mora but want a slightly better design, Hultafors may be an idea. The OK4 is fairly short and light, could be carried as an EDC if a compact belt knife is no problem where you live. SK5 steel, higher/slicier grind than a Mora HD. But then it has to be sold in Croatia.
As this thread will also be read by people with similar questions but from places where internet ordering is possible, I second the idea of one of the Terava mini blades from Varusteleka - the mini Skrama or the mini puukko. They also sell flat sheaths for them, to be pocketed without handle scales. The bare tang is actually pretty useful as a handle in its own right, not just meant to put your own scales on. I have the mini puukko, and use it for food, cutting bread and cheese as you can just rinse it off and nothing is left sticking. If you need to split wood, you can hit the tang just as hard as the spine of the blade. The bare tang knife in the flat sheath fits into a jacket pocket without a problem. It then is a question of your preferred blade shape - sheep's foot with a long straight cutting edge or the puukko shape with a deep belly and a long straight spine. These knives are thinner (3 mm) than the large puukko or Skrama blades, and have higher grinds so they slice well. But they are still very sturdy.

Well, I tried with ordering Manly Patriot in D2, didn't even wait for black friday.
They messed up royally. They shipped the item at wrong adress and it has returned to them.
And I did not give them wrong adress!
If I want to order again I have to pay shipping again, which is apsurd because it was not my mistake!

At this point I'm simply just fed up with shitty post and delivery services and online shopping as well.

As soon as I get refund I'll go to the store and most likley buy Cold Steel Drop Forged Hunter in 52100 high carbon steel.
Handle is thin, blade is 5mm thick and only 4 inch (10cm) long which I find great for EDC.
I'll buy this thing at the store and get over with it.

If you're looking to EDC a fixed blade, Ferrum Forge Lackey all day long.

So, I bought this one today at the store.

Cold Steel Drop Forged Hunter in 52100 High Carbon. For bit under 50€. I tested it out too, and this knife is a tank.

However, the knife I originally tried to buy was Manly Patriot in D2 (53€ with shipping).

The knife I got is:
Bigger
Wider
Thicker
Heawier

But it's still small and compact enough for EDC.
Did I make a mistake in your opinion? How does 52100 High Carbon compare to D2?
