...would you trust with your life if you had to defend yourself from multiple attackers and you couldn't get to a fire arm?

I've had lots of martial arts practice and these are the ones that feel great in my hand.

Good lord. None of them really! My super black eagle would work great but you said knife.... sure the hell wouldn't be a little folder... if it had to be a knife I'd say busse basic 9. It's got reach and it's sharp and it wouldn't be easy to take it away from me.
 
Swamp Rat Waki... Light, fast, and actually well suited for just such an event.
 
Maybe a big box of the cheapest folders China makes. Just keep chucking them like rocks.

I'd take a machete over a knife any day of the week. Gives you some reach and does really unpleasant things to anything softer than a tree trunk. Not the ideal weapon but it beats these little "tactical" folders we all love so much.

Any knife I'd use against multiple attackers would have to be dipped in the poison of the deadly frogs.
 
My Survive! GSO10. That thing would easily lop through a bone. It's 10" of pure flat ground love! It would NOT be my first choice to grab a knife, but that's the rules you established. :) hahaha. After that, my Cold Steel Trail Master in O1.
