Which one BK5 , 9, or 7?

I got the 9 before I knew there was a 5. If I were still avidly fishing (as I once was) I would get the 5 first, and not can't have a 9 until later.

Your right probably looking for chopper style first cause there ain't no way i won't have a folder on me too so could just use that for slicer/skinner.As much as i'd like to own them all i'm gonna really try to have only 3. I'm a broke SOB and don't see that changing anytime soon so 3 is it for a long time. Don't own a vehicle,or a home or anything worth a crap but have a descent collection of knives and guns. BK24 for a small, BK2 for fat medium, and 9 or 5 for the large. It's a hard call think i'm gonna watch some more youtube vids and take a better look at em and see how well they do some deeds. Gonna probably wait until the BK2 comes also to see how it is and make a choice from there.

I appreciate my Becker's as well as the next man\woman. But if you are broke and want a decent inexpensive slicer, get a Mora. A Mora companion is under 20 bucks and an excellent knife. Pair that up with your broad shouldered 2 and you have some real animal\wood processing ability, without lugging an axe or hatchet.

The 5 or 7 are not gonna get it done if the 2 isn't quite big enough. Get the 9. It'll be as slicy as you make the edge but I wouldn't do that to a 9.
