Ive got a victorinox champ find my self using the wood saw and pliers most frequently, followed by the tweasers and scissors. In fact the lack of tweasers is all thats holding me back from getting a leatherman wave (I will not tolerate slivers or thorns). I want to get one of the 4 1/4" locking SAK's for the longer saw and more ergonomic grip, so I think I'm gona go with the "hercules" (http://www.smartknives.com/Victorinox-Knives/Victorinox-Hercules.htm)

Which model do you got, or would like to have if money permitted?

Well, for a SAK, I favor the OHT(one-handed trekker), for a multi tool, I like the LM wave. You could carry a good pair of tweezers with your wave in the sheath. There is room for a set.

EDC SAK choice: Victorinox Hiker

Large SAK choice: Victorinox Jumpmaster

Multi-tool choice: Leatherman Blast

For me, I like my blue alox Farmer. Friggin' great woods pocketknife. It's got everything I want.

Ever think of getting either the SAK or LM you like, then supplementing with either the pliers or tweezers it lacks, respectively?

In my pack: Victorinox Ranger
In my pocket: Victorinox Farmer
Want: OH Trekker plain edge with corkscrew instead of Phillip's head driver in black or stayglow scales.

Outdoor SAK: Locksmith
EDC SAK: Spartan (Also good for states with tough knife laws)
Multi tool: Leatherman Charge TTi (my EDC for work)

Tweezers yes, I carry a nice pair in my first aid kit, but not pliers I think it would be getting kind of bulky.

There's so many different SAK's that you can get almost any combination of tools, and the SAK pliers have been good enough for removing fish hooks, loosening stubborn knots, and other menial camp tasks.

The OHT has a great loooong saw and a decent grip while using it. There is a version called just the Trekker I think that has a "regular" blade with the nail nick which I assume would feel better in the hand while sawing.

As for tweezers, I have a pair of these on my keys (and used them last night to remove a agonizing splinter!) A pair of these with some fresh X-Acto blades are all I need to get stuff out fron under my skin:

for a multi too the wave can't be beat... a sak classic on the keychain goes along way for removing splinters...

The fit and finish on Victorinox Swisstools is better than Leathermans, and they're also much more corrosion resistant.

I just picked up two OhT's one the regualr one and the other the GAK version. Mainly because it has all the tools i need. I keep a LM TTi in my pack for any repairs I might have and a sak on me for all the jobs my knife cant do.

For urban carry: LM Wave
For hiking: Vic Outrider, Mora, and Bahco saw
At work (hospital): Vic Compact

Been wanting to try a Spirit, but not ready to give up on the Wave; it's just too handy!

SAK Fireman.

The only full sized SAK I know of that has a saw and 2 blades. 2 blades for redundancy if you break one.

Original wave does me just fine for 6 yrs now, a fine tool.

EDC SAK choice: Blue Alox farmer, the perfect sak.

Large SAK choice: Victorinox OHT, outrider is close though. (hercules without pliers

Multi-tool choice: Leatherman crunch. I have been looking at the victorinox ones a lot though.
