I’ve been eyeballing the FRN Chaparral lately. Stopped by a knife store yesterday and they didn’t have one. I suspect I will get one soon.

How do you like your Carbon Fiber Chap?

Little story.
This is one of the early ones with CPM S30V steel. This blade chips if you look at it wrong. I don’t hard use because of that!! And I wouldn’t buy S30V knives from anyone. It’s the only knife I have in that steel.
Now. I really like this knife in hand and rides real nice in the pocket. Just gotta be careful what I cut with it!!

How do you like your Carbon Fiber Chap?

I have about seven Chaps including 2 stepped Ti .
I keep coming back to this Carbon one for using . Mine is in the XHP . A favorite hard use steel of mine too .
This is one of the last ones I bought .
Reprofiled it thin behind the edge and about 12° per side polished .
Dang I love this knife ! ! !
Tends to run just a little thicker in the handle than most of them and I like that .
