  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

Giving the Tenacious a little of bit of pocket time tonight. It's been feeling neglected since my PM2 rolled into town a couple of weeks ago.

Great looking knife. Will you be using it around water?

I am planning for this to be my "beach knife." My wife and I live in Florida and enjoy spending time out at the water. I wanted to have something I didn't have to be (as) paranoid about getting cleaned quickly if the need arose to use it. Also, found a guy on that big auction site that makes kydex neck sheaths for the Dragonfly and planning to pick one of those up.

What is the story on those Mili scales?

They were made by Bower Bladeworks (Kevin). He did semi polished red linen micarta and also upgraded the fasteners to T8. The handle is now thicker than the factory Millie, but it is smooth and contoured so it feels the same in the pocket. I want to polish them further, but haven't taken the time to do it yet.
