Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

I went back to a VG-10 PE Leaf Jumper. I had been carrying an S30V Sage 6. These are two of my current favorites, and likely will remain so for quite some time. I decided to order my first PM2 - maybe I will like it almost as much as the Military/Military 2. 🤔

Happy Monday! Para3 lightweight with my Knipex mini-pliers set 😊

The endela is still out there for sale if you look hard enough fwiw. That was the first PD#1 knife I got and damn it takes a great edge (cruwear by another name so no surprise I guess).
THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT !
Found and ordered one today from Blade HQ.
Found one on Mr. Knife Guy (does he support BF ?) but he is closed on Mondays so he lost out . I wasn't sure he was a legit Spyderco dealer .
First time I looked him up on the Spyderco.com he didn't come up. Later from a slightly different part of the page I searched again and came right up as a legit dealer so not sure what happened the first time .

Anybody done business with Mr. Knife Guy ?
Stupid me ; I just now got the Mr. NICE Guy sound a like .

Happy Friday : Centofante III from 2014. Thin & slicey hollow ground blade.

I love these things .
Did you know . . .
that when you full flat grind them spine to behind the edge , that ALL of the hollow grind goes away ?
Little known fact .
I've got two ; one stock = a tad over 1.9 mm at the spine and one I full flat ground to a touch under 1.9 at the spine and thinner behind the edge.
Madness I know . It's the scientist in me .

That and I'm never (really) happy with a knife until it is as thin as a kitchen paring knife .
I hear there are bush craft courses I can take to get over this personal flaw but . . . I'm happy here on the couch.
(((in my sixties now . I've done my share of marathon length trail running for that "outdoor" experience 😍and some how when I would go on week long snow shoe trips I was a wanker and just took my Swiss Army Knife and a white gas stove . ))) 😞

Thanks for posting yours so many posts here help me remember I have knives I need to dig out and carry again because they are so great .

I hope this thread is appropriate for the following post.

I want to carry an Endura 4 Lightweight Flat Ground with a "silver" clip (tip-up), and the lanyard hole must remain usable.
Discoloring the original black clip isn't really an option. Deep carry isn't necessary.

Would the clip from an Endura 4 Stainless fit? I think so, right?
If so, how and where can I get an original Spyderco clip?

If you contact Spyderco, they can hook you up with a clip. I got a spare clip and screws for my RockJumper a couple of years ago. I think it cost me $8 plus shipping. I actually did it by phone. One of the perks of a good American business like Spyderco is that you can call them and talk to a real person. While I don't expect that there would be any issue with swapping clips between Enduras, I bet they could tell you.

I've since upgraded my RockJumper to an MXG clip. Sure, it costs a lot more than $8 plus shipping but I definitely recommend checking them out if you're already thinking about changing your clip. Having been using MXG clips for a couple of years on a couple of models now, I really love them.
