Which Spyderco are you carrying today?

Here's one that doesn't see much pocket time lately...
Just grabbed it today on a whim

I've been carrying the little talked about Rescue 3. That thing is an excellent slicer on cardboard boxes! It took a little while to warm up to it, but I think I'm sold on it now.

One day I'll figure out pics, but today the new navy blue Manix 2 S110V totally kicked the new GB out of primary rotation.

After a proper breaking in, this just might be my favorite carry knife, ever. It's SO smooth after 800-900 deployments.

Barman1, are those custom scales for the Manix 2 or are they from a sprint run? That is an awesome shade of green and the honeycomb pattern is sweet.

They're Alan Putman scales. I've got a bunch of them.

This thread reminded me that I have a CTS BD1 Manix 2 L/W clipped to the right hand side of my back pocket. This is the only knife that I can carry in my back pocket and forget it's there. Someday I will get the s110v version.

This combo again. Though when my blacked out Southard arrives, I have a feeling it'll shake things up.

just got my new Delica 4 ZDP-189 in british racing green! surprised to find it fairly liberally coated in oil straight out of the packaging ... is ZDP particularly sensitive to moisture or something?

A little.
ZDP will develop a slight patina under certain conditions. Mostly if used on acidic foods or similar.
Keep a thin coat of mineral oil on it and you'll have no problems.
